Harris Teeter Supermarket is said to open Locust Point on Dec. 7. Harris Teeter Supermarket  spokeswoman Catherine Reuhl told the press today.

The 61,000-square-foot Harris Teeter Supermarket is will be part of McHenry Row, which is a mixed-use development located on the site of the old Chesapeake Paperboard property.

Citypeek.com reported that the grocer will sell wine, but that is not the case, according to the developer of the site Mark Sapperstein Mark Sapperstein Developer.

Apparently Harris Teeter does not have a liquor license. There will apparently be a store that sells wine and beer directly next door to Harris Teeter Supermarket.

The wine store will have a separate entrance from Harris Teeter. The two stores will be connected from the inside. So, kind of seems to me that Harris Teeter Supermarket is selling wine, just a different name and walk through.. is it different owners? Developer sure sounds to be the same.
